Bluejays Host Elmhurst Men's Golf Fall Invitational


OAK BROOK, Ill. - 
The Elmhurst College men's golf team hosted the Elmhurst Fall Invitational at Oak Brook Golf Club.

Competing with three squads, the Bluejays placed fourth, eighth, and 15th out of 16 squads.

Carthage won the team title with a 294 while Dubuque and Wheaton tied for second with a 301. Elmhurst's "B" squad shot a 304 to tie for fourth place with Augustana. Elmhurst's "A" squad placed eighth with a 310 while the Bluejays' "C" squad shot a 345 to place 15th.

Sophomore Nick Dylla was the Bluejays' top finisher, leading the "B" team with a 74 to tie for ninth place.



John Carroll    John Carroll finished one stroke behind (tied for 11th) with a 75 while C.J. Beisswanger carded a 77 to tie for 22nd place. Jeremy Yoder shot a 78 (tied for 24th) whileBrandon Rincon finished with a 79 (tied for 33rd) to complete the scoring for the Bluejays'  "B" team.

The Elmhurst "A" squad was led by Evan Haase's 75, tying for 11th place. Grant Yoderfinished just one stroke behind with a 76, tying for 16th place. Tyler Beyak carded a 79 to finish tied for 33rd while Kent Gregory and Sean Lenchner each shot an 80 to tie for 37th place.

Gavin Lux shot a 78 (tied for 24th) to tie for 24th place to lead the Elmurst "C" team. Ryan Johnson finished with an 86 (tied for 64th place) while Jon Gill carded an 89 (tied for 71st place). Louis Zmich (tied for 76th place) shot a 92 to round out the Bluejays' team score.
